I've always been a graphic novel guy but have read my fair share of books. None stand out though.

Feeling a little blue,
Once I saw the day,
Realizing its been a year,
My daughter went away.
Your little face so precious,
Kisses would have been like gold,
As I sit here holding back tears,
It is you I wish I could hold.
Recently, I thought of you,
In an uncontrolled emotional wave,
Livid because you were taken,
One life I could not save.
Visions of you are all I have,
Each one seems so clear,
Days will pass; life goes on
And yours I will hold most dear.
